CHAMPAGNE BRUT MILLESIME 2008
GRAPE VARIETY
50% Pinot Noir, 50% Chardonnay
TASTING NOTES
Produced only in an exceptional vintage, from a unique vintage, the D Millésimé 2008 champagne is made up in equal parts of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, selected from the best plots of the Côte des Bar and Côte des Blancs. The ideal climatic conditions of 2008 produced grapes with excellent ripeness. This great vintage is well balanced with complexity, rich fruit and beautiful freshness. This vintage Champagne ages for at least 10 years in the cellar, revealing all its complexity both on the nose and on the palate. It has an intense gold color with straw-yellow reflections. Subtle and elegant aromas of white peaches and citrus peel, followed by light notes of brioche. Fresh on opening, the palate elegantly evolves towards citrus notes, ending with intense notes of dried fruit and pastry. A wine to be enjoyed now but which can rest in the cellar to develop in complexity and intensity. Key aromas: white peach, citrus, warm bread. Since its inception, DEVAUX has presented only 6 vintages in the D Collection: 1996, 2000, 2002, 2005, 2006, 2008.
