CHAMPAGNE EXTRA BRUT
GRAPE VARIETY
Pinot Noir 55% Chardonnay 45%
Reserve wines: 35% minimum, mostly aged in large oak barrels.
TASTING NOTES
Pinot noir from the Côte des Bar, Chardonnay from the Côte des Blancs and Montgueux from the Côte des Bar. The aging in the cellar is different between the 750 bottle and the magnum, in fact while the Ultra D bottle ages for at least 5 years, the magnum remains on the lees for at least 7 years. Golden yellow color. Fine perlage with an excellent texture. Fresh aromas and superb minerality with a touch of crunchy salinity (iodine notes), moving on to white flower and spicy notes. Wonderful vivacity and excellent length on the palate. The low dosage improves purity, freshness and elegance. Key aromas: minerality, salinity, white flower.
