Blackwoods is the world’s first vintage gin. Blackwoods Gin was born on the wild islands of Shetland, where the unforgiving seasonal weather means that different native botanical plants thrive each year, creating a unique vintage. Now, Blackwoods has made the move to the mainland, where the shimmering lochs, rugged mountains, dense forests, and a global reputation for outstanding distillates have inspired to seek out the very best native Scottish botanicals each year to create the ultimate Scottish gin. The 2021 vintage uses ingredients from the Scottish coast for a classic gin with a fresh, citrus flavour and a hint of spice. The 2021 vintage celebrates ingredients from the Scottish coast including kelp, sea buckthorn and water mint for a classic gin with a fresh citrus flavour and a hint of spice. Best enjoyed over ice with tonic and a wedge of grapefruit. Proudly distilled and bottled in Scotland, this Gin was made in collaboration with award-winning Master Distiller, Sion Edwards. Balckwoods Gin is also Vegan and environmentally conscious, in fact the bottle is made from 52% recycled glass, the cap is made from recycled ABS in a 100% renewable energy powered factory and the label is printed on uncoated, wood-free, vFSC certified paper.
