TASTING NOTES
The Pur Avize 2018 is presented to you after 5 years of sous liège ageing in the cellars. This cuvee is a blend of 3 plots from the heart of the Avize terroir surrounding the village, Les Avats, Les Maladries and Les Chapelles; it is Bonville's interpretation of this renowned village. This champagne presents a very fine bubble that hints at its energy. The nose is generous and rich with pastry tones. Notes of stone and a certain freshness complete the aromatic profile. The palate takes up this elegant evolution, being creamy, soft and lush, and evolves towards riper aromas of quince and almond. The finish is decidedly saline and offers a length typical of Avize for this 2018.
