TASTING NOTES
Saint Pierre Aop Vinsobres 2020 is a wine from the southern Côtes du Rhône region, produced in the village of Saint-Pierre. Made from Grenache, Syrah and Mourvèdre grapes from 4.5 hectares of vineyards located on rocky terrain, the wine reflects the hot and arid climate of the area, influenced by mistral winds. The grapes are harvested by hand when fully ripe, then destemmed and transferred to stainless steel vats for fermentation with the skins at a controlled temperature of 22/28°C for 7 weeks. After ageing in cement vats for about 6 months, the wine is bottled without filtering, which can cause sediment formation. The Saint Pierre Aop Vinsobres 2020 is distinguished by its ripe and vibrant fruit, with a lingering peppery aftertaste and a velvety structure that will satisfy the most demanding palates.
