Raineri Franciacorta Brut is an elegant and structured sparkling wine produced in Erbusco, the heart of Franciacorta, on clay-leaning moraine soils. Made exclusively from 100% Chardonnay grapes, cultivated using the Guyot system and hand-harvested at optimal phenolic ripeness to preserve the varietal aromas. The winemaking process includes gentle pressing at low pressure with must fractionation and pure fermentation using selected yeasts under controlled temperatures, maintaining aromatic integrity. Secondary fermentation occurs in bottle at low temperatures following Raineri’s exclusive SoloUva method, which uses only the natural sugars present in the grapes without added sucrose. The wine ages on the lees for at least 36 months, followed by an additional 6 months’ rest after disgorgement, imparting finesse, complexity, and a pronounced sense of place. In the glass, it shows an intense, bright yellow colour with elegant and continuous perlage. The nose presents a refined and deep profile, intertwining fruity and floral notes with delicate mineral and spicy hints. On the palate, it is enveloping and full-bodied, supported by vibrant freshness and marked salinity that enhance its structure. The finish is long and harmonious, reflecting the power and minerality of the clay soils from which the grapes originate, delivering intensity and character in every sip.
