TASTING NOTES
A Verdicchio Riserva dei Castelli di Jesi DOCG that is predisposed to a long aging, well over ten years. Straw yellow color at sight. The nose reveals brackish and fragrant notes. The variable characters of the Verdicchio grape are evident: tasty, with a sinuous, fascinating step. The quality of the 2014 harvest was rather heterogeneous, overall good with points of excellent. The positive trend in the months of September and October improved quality, without however being able to reverse the situation that had previously arisen due to an unfavorable weather trend. It appears from the general data that it was among the least productive of the decade (25-30% decrease), but these losses were not recorded in Tavignano.
