TASTING NOTES
Côte de Provence AOP UP Rosé Jeroboam 2024 from Ultimate Provence is a premium rosé in Jeroboam format holding 3 litres, perfect for celebrating special occasions with its Provençal freshness and the iconic design of the transparent, label-less bottle. The 2024 vintage stands out due to a favourable Mediterranean climate in the Côtes de Provence, with grapes harvested at night to preserve fresh and intense aromas, resulting in a balanced and harmonious rosé with no specific ratings published yet. The Côtes de Provence AOP, between Nice, Marseille, and Saint-Tropez, boasts a unique terroir of schistose hills, oaks, and rich humus, protected by the Mistral wind that aids ripening; Ultimate Provence spans 46 hectares certified organic since 2021 and HVE (High Environmental Value), on the edge of the Maures Natural Reserve. The cuvée blends Cinsault for freshness, Grenache for fruit, Syrah for structure and acidity, and Rolle (Vermentino) for citrus notes, creating a contemporary rosé crafted by winemaker Alexis Cornu, with medium body and 12.5% abv, ideal at 8-10°C with fish or aperitifs. On the eye, it displays a pale pink with coppery and silvery hues, elegant in the large Jeroboam format. On the nose, it bursts with fresh lemon, raspberry, strawberry, exotic fruit, and delicate florals. On the palate, it is spicy, floral, and fruity, with vibrant acidity from Syrah and a perfectly rounded finish. Ultimate Provence, part of the MDCV group, unites three estates across 350 organic hectares and offers chic enotourism with a gourmet restaurant, Monaco-style design rooms, and exclusive pairings, making it an icon of innovative Provençal lifestyle.
