Discover Cantina Vivaldi and its fine Alto Adige Metodo Classico sparkling wines in our online wine shop

Cantina Vivaldi was created in the late 1970s as an ambitious mountain project on the Meltina plateau, a natural terrace suspended at 1,200 metres between the Sarentino and Passiria valleys in the province of Bolzano. In this remote corner of Alto Adige, far from the major sparkling wine districts, the natural temperature swings of the high altitude create long, generous seasons: sunny days allow the grapes to ripen slowly, while cool nights preserve aromatic purity and pristine minerality. The crystal-clear mountain air, enriched by constant Alpine breezes, protects these heroic vineyards on steep, sun-drenched slopes where Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and local varieties reach their fullest expression.

Led with passion and vision by Wolfgang Reiterer, Cantina Vivaldi has made altitude its defining feature, turning the challenges of this extreme terroir into a distinctive benchmark for Alto Adige Metodo Classico sparkling wines. Each Alto Adige Metodo Classico cuvée is crafted from carefully selected mountain grapes, expertly fermented and aged on the lees in bottle for at least 24 months, followed by traditional hand disgorgement. The result is sparkling wines with an ultra-fine and persistent mousse, precise aromas of ripe fruit, white flowers and appealing mineral notes, all supported by vibrant freshness and a beautifully balanced structure that reflects the rhythmic energy of the mountains.

In our online shop you can explore the full range of Vivaldi Alto Adige Metodo Classico DOC: Brut, Blanc de Blancs Extra Brut and Rosé Brut, each one expressing this remarkable high-altitude terroir and the winemaking vision of Wolfgang Reiterer, ideal for by-the-glass service, aperitif and fine dining pairings.
